LONDON: Cristiano Ronaldo is already in talks with his agent Jorge Mendes about the crisis at Manchester United and his future at Old Trafford.

Mendes flew to the United Kingdom to resolve Ronaldo’s concerns with his dream move back to Old Trafford in danger and could end in destruction.

Ronaldo has scored 14 of United’s 29 goals in all competitions this season.

However, it is understood that the Portuguese star is disappointed with United’s performance.

The former Real Madrid star is also disappointed with the tactics and football style of interim manager Ralf Rangnick.

Sources close to Ronaldo revealed: “Cristiano is very concerned about what is happening at United.

“The team received a lot of criticism and he knew that he was considered one of the leaders.

“There were a lot of problems, Cristiano felt pressured and very depressed with the situation.

“He wanted his move to United to be successful, but he was starting to realize that winning a trophy with the current situation was a real struggle.

“Jorge came to see him and they spent time talking about how the situation happened, thinking about the problem, how it could be solved and what the solution was,” the source said.
