LONDON: Manchester United legend Gary Neville has urged his former club to forget about bringing Cristiano Ronaldo back to Old Trafford.
The Portuguese star has been linked with a move to United after Juventus dropped him from their last game of the season.
Ronaldo also backed the speculation by uploading a status saying he was ready for a new challenge.
“I like him (Ronaldo) but I think it’s better to just let that memory. (Raphael) Varane, (Harry) Kane and (Jadon) Sancho = championship,” Neville said.
Ronaldo has won seven major trophies including three Premier League titles and one Champions League during his six years with United.
