PARIS: Kylian Mbappe will set off a £ 400 million competition between the giants Manchester, Liverpool and Real Madrid.
The 21-year-old French star reportedly submitted a notice to Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) stating his intention to leave the club at the end of the season.
With his contract remaining two years then, PSG will get 300 million pounds if they do not intend to thwart its intentions.
Mbappe is currently paid 15 million pounds a year and will see an increase of another 5 million pounds if he moves.
Any club that plans to get its services will offer a five-year contract – an additional 100 million pounds of its current value.
If English Premier League (EPL) champions Liverpool intend to bring Mbappe to Anfield, they will have to release one of their three pillars – Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane or Roberto Firmino.
City certainly have the funds to get Mbappe after their attempt to bring Lionel Messi to the Etihad did not materialize.
However, Mbappe is seen as more interested in being with Liverpool, led by Jurgen Klopp, who once persuaded him to Anfield before he chose PSG.
