MANCHESTER: Ole Gunnar Solskjaer admits Manchester United have no “million extra money” as Borussia Dortmund remain adamant on Jadon Sancho’s transfer fee.

SunSport reported on September 2 that the England winger had reached an agreement with United on his salary.

And now the Red Devils are discussing agent fees.

However, Solskaer’s squad is at a standstill in talks with Dortmund over the transfer fee after the original £ 70 million offer was raised to £ 110 million including a deductible bonus.

United, who have just released £ 39 million for midfielder Donny van de Beek from Ajax this summer, still do not seem to give up.

And when asked via Radio Five Live if it was OK without any other purchase, he seemed to warn the Bundesliga club that his squad could not be taken hostage related to the 20-year-old.

Solskjaer said: “I am happy to work with this player and the squad.

“We are always trying to improve and see if we can improve the squad and bring in players so that we have the right level of quality and personality and criteria.

“We all know this summer and this year is very odd and it is important for everyone to understand that this affects football and not everyone can spend millions and millions and millions more.”
