MADRID: Real Madrid have reportedly launched a ‘Kylian Mbappe operation’ which will see six players sold out to cover the 135 million pound transfer for the Paris Saint-Germain player.
Gareth Bale, Isco, Dani Ceballos, Luka Jovic, Marcelo and Brahim Diaz will be released to get the French and PSG strikers.
Mbappe’s contract at the Parc des Prices expires in 2022 and the World Cup champions have yet to sign a new contract.
Spanish media reports also say Los Blancos hopes to start negotiations with PSG in June in an effort to get the player at that price.
However, Madrid are still prepared for the worst situation where the French giants are likely to claim around 200 million pounds (RM1.1 billion) as when they bought Neymar in 2017.
In addition to Mbappe, Madrid are also targeting Bayern Munich defender David Alaba and Rennes striker Eduardo Camavinga.
