LONDON: Tottenham striker Harry Kane has said he wants to leave the club at the end of the season according to reports yesterday.
Kane is unhappy with the lack of improvement at Tottenham this season and is ready to leave the club after 12 years in north London, according to Sky Sports.
The England captain reportedly wants his future settled before the start of Euro 2020 on 11 June.
Kane’s contract with Tottenham has three years left and his chairman, Daniel Levy, is known to be a tough guy who could make it difficult for the 27 -year -old to find a solution.
Tottenham are reluctant to be linked with Kane’s future in general as they focus on their last two Premier League games and aim to qualify for Europa League competition.
“We will not comment – our focus is to finish the season as best we can. That should be everyone’s focus,” a club spokesman said.
Premier League champions, Manchester City; Manchester United and Champions League finalist Chelsea have all been cited as suitable clubs for Kane, who has already scored 32 goals in all competitions this season.
Paris Saint-Germain, led by former Kane boss at Tottenham Mauricio Pochettino and Spanish giants Real Madrid have also been said to be interested in the striker.
