WATFORD: Craig Dawson blasted an ‘extra’ goal in extra time and helped his side tie Leicester 1-1 in a Premier League draw at Vicarage Road.
The result of the draw allowed Watford to earn a valuable point after they were in danger of approaching the relegation zone.
Ben Chilwell in the 89th minute saw Leicester close to full points before frustrating Dawson’s equalizer.
In a rather blunt action, Watford’s best attempt came in the first half through Ismaila Sarr but Kasper Schmeichel quickly denied it until the start of the 89th minute.
Based on that decision, Watford jumped a ladder over West Ham who will welcome the Wolves in another action tonight.
Leicester remain in third place and Chelsea will not be eliminated even if The Blues defeat Aston Villa tomorrow night.
